Totally Irrational

Yes, Yes, I know. Babies are special, they are a gift, and also a very happy time in someone's life. For the past week I have had to replay this mantra over and over again in my head. My husband & I have been trying for about a 1.5 to get pregnant, a couple we are friends with have been trying for 3 years. The third couple we hang out with just announced that SURPRISE! they are having a baby, and they only just started in July....Needless to say as they are telling us this information as we are waiting to order at Red Lobster I feel like I was jusy sucker punched in the stomach.

I can honestly say it wasn't so much that someone in your group got pregnant, it's that it was them. The couple that's going to make the next 9 months unbearable because if you are not talking about a craving "the baby" is having or morning sickness or how tired you are, then there is nothing to talk about. How when you get pregnant you are going to have to try not to punch them in the face when they tell you you're doing something wrong.

I know I sound bitter but I mean she thought mice laid eggs.....seriously. How can she get pregnant at a blink and everyone else has to try so hard. It just doesn't seem fair.
